I’m a psychotherapist specialising in high sensitivity and emotional resilience.
As a highly sensitive person myself, I know how difficult it can be to manage intense emotions, feel safe in your environment, and grow up feeling misunderstood. These experiences shaped my path into this work — and they help me meet you with empathy and care.
While I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), my approach is tailored to the needs of sensitive individuals. It’s gentle, collaborative, and grounded in the work of Dr Elaine Aron. I integrate emotion-focused work with somatic and nervous system-based techniques, helping you move from overwhelm to regulation — at your own pace.
Individual Therapy Sessions: Personalised support focusing on the unique experiences of highly sensitive individuals, integrating cognitive behavioural, compassion focused and strength based therapies to enhance coping and personal growth.

Cannot thank Kavita enough. The way i feel now compared to when we started is like night and day. I am actually feeling little to no overwhelm on a Monday morning which is unbelievable. You have been amazing. Every session has been so professional and focused.
Kavita has had a massively positive impact on my life. My health, emotional state and relationships have all improved and sessions with her have helped me find more joy and satisfaction in all areas of my life. She is warm and non judgemental which played a big role in helping me.
The therapy at Living Highly Sensitive subtly shifted my relationship dynamics. It's gentle yet impactful, cultivating a deeper understanding among us. I no longer worry about my partner leaving me and have a better relationship with myself.
She would patiently listen to me and my concerns, she would always respond to my issues with empathy and would consistently aid me in finding out where the root of my issues are as well as giving me tools to cope with the issues i am facing. She has truly made an impact on me and i massively appreciate the help and support i have received from her.
FAQs
Key Questions Answered for Navigating High Sensitivity
A Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) experiences intense responses to emotional, physical, or social stimuli.
High sensitivity can manifest in many ways, but common signs include being easily overwhelmed by bright lights or loud sounds, needing to withdraw during busy days to regain energy, experiencing rich and deep emotions, and having a heightened response to physical or emotional pain.
Absolutely. Therapy can help highly sensitive people understand and accept their traits, learn coping strategies to manage overstimulation, and use their sensitivity as a strength rather than seeing it as a barrier. This process often involves building self-esteem, managing stress and anxiety, and improving relationships.
